Africa’s fastest man Ferdinand Omanyala has been ruled out of the world athletic championships over Visa delay. The Kenyan athlete had previously hinted that he was at the verge of losing an important tournament over Visa issues.
The competition that was scheduled on Friday will find the athlete in Kenya. During a previous interview on Radio Jambo, Omanyala stated that Amina Mohammed had sent a team to the embassy to inquire of the problem, however, until Thursday, the Visa issue had not been resolved.
On Wednesday, the athlete stated, “sad that I haven’t travelled to Oregon yet and 100m is in two days. Visa delays.”
