Citizen TV journalist Willis Raburu has paid tribute to his late daughter Adana. The radio and TV presenter lost his first daughter Adana on December 31, 2019. Adana was Willis Raburu’s daughter with his estranged wife Marya Prude.
She would be turning three years in December of this year. Just for memories, both Willis Raburu and Marya Prude got moving tattoos to act as a reminder of their late daughter, Adana.
The Hot 96 radio presenter stated that grief takes time before it fades away, and therefore, the wound is still fresh in his heart. He also paid tribute to Cliff Moses. He stated, “Always in my heart, daddy loves you Adana. Keep the party going in heaven, say hello to great grandmas and please tell uncle Cliff we still miss him.”

Willis stated that even though the society expects you to be okay within a short time, sometimes it takes long before you can actually be okay and heal from what happened.
He wrote, “Crazy thing about grief is that life still goes on and you are supposed to be okay,but you realize that you are not and the pain doesn’t go away and it could be years later and you still feel it. It is a process. One day at a time.”
Last year, Willis Raburu remembered the day his daughter passed on. He wrote, “On a day like today, a time like this I waited to hear you cry, called your name… you did not reply. Now I see you through the sky. My Adana.”
