Man commits suicide by setting himself a blaze inside his car after his wife failed to return home

The residents of koru village in Kisumu County have been thrown into shock after a middle aged man identified as Amimo committed suicide by setting himself a blaze inside his car after his wife failed to return home.

It is said that Mr Amimo whose marriage was already on the rocks returned home on Thursday night and found out that his wife had left their matrimonial home.

Amimo stormed out of the house In a bid to search for her in the wee hours of the night but returned home disappointed after failing to find her and decided to end his life inside his car.

On hearing the news of her husband from a close friend, his wife returned home the following day riding on a boda boda, however she did not disclose where she was the previous night.

The deceased had left a suicide note revealing that he had suffered in the hands of his wife for the longest time and he had intended to leave her and the children.

Koru Detectives are already investigating the incident.
