Renowned Ugandan singer Kansiime has reviewed her marriage that lasted for a period of four years. Recalling what her ex-husband told her, Kansime stated that she received some hurtful words but she had to swallow.
The comedian stated that her ex-hubby told her that marriage wasn’t comedy like her career. She disclosed that at some point, Kansiime told him(Gerald Ojok) that she didn’t see herself being married in the future, but he didn’t take her statement seriously.
Kansiime stated that Ojok reacted weirdly, arguing that she was just being comic, hence he didn’t take it seriously. It shall be recalled that Kansiime got married to Gerald Ojok in 2013 but the duo separated in 2017.
The comedian took to her Facebook page and announced that she (Ann Kansiime) and Gerald Ojok had separated. She stated, “OJ and I aren’t together anymore. Reasons why are we are not for anyone else to know but the two of us.”
Due to public pressure, Kansiime Ann found herself explaining why they decided to part ways. It was alleged that Gerald decided to break up with Kansiime because she was unable to get pregnant for him.
Kansiime argued that she felt upset because of the fact that she paid her own dowry. Kansiime revealed this in 2019 when she was having a conversation with Nana Kaga.
