The enigmatic Kenyan-born, US-based entrepreneur Sue Gacambi recently returned to her homeland for a leisurely visit. Upon her arrival, she paid a visit to Pastor Kiengei’s church, Jesus Compassion Ministry, eager to attend a church service. The charismatic pastor, never one to shy away from the unconventional, welcomed Gacambi with open arms and even granted her the chance to address his captivated flock.
As Gacambi approached the microphone, the audience had no idea what was in store, a storm of epic proportions was brewing. Gacambi proceeded to advertise her business venture right on the altar as the entire church watched, this was not just normal business but if you hear of it which, if the legends are true, could make the devil himself abandon his infernal domain.
For those who might not know, Gacambi has carved out a niche for herself as an online purveyor of “risqué adult novelties“, in simple terms she deals with selling Adult S3x toys, promoting the art of self-indulgence as an alternative to more traditional forms of intimacy, which she argues may lead to sicknesses or unplanned pregnancies.

Talk of having a quintessential Kikuyu entrepreneurial spirit, Gacambi unabashedly declared, “My name is Sue Gacambi, and I am born again in the heart. I live in Texas and I help women achieve happiness in all ways, and they enjoy it. I can even see that some of the men who come to me for assistance are seated here in the church.” Sue declared.
The footage of Gacambi’s unorthodox presentation has ignited a fiery backlash on social media, particularly among those hailing from central Kenya, who are questioning the church leader’s decision to permit such sacrilegious acts to be committed in a holy place.
Among the outspoken critics is renowned Facebook sensation Martha Mwihaki Hinga, who opined, “I do not intend to throw a subliminal shade to Kanisa La Wote, but the presiding pastor Bazuu may want to review the dos and don’ts. Allowing the marketing, sale, and promotion of plastic hubbies right within the premises of the church is gross. The altar remains the altar; it doesn’t matter the philosophy behind your gospel. There’s a reason the altar remains a throne of unblemished.”
