Prisca Mwaro, the former wife of Sports CS Ababu Namwamba, was found dead in her Nairobi residence on Wednesday, March 8. The circumstances surrounding her death are still shrouded in mystery, according to family insiders who spoke on condition of anonymity.
The news of her passing comes just hours after Prisca celebrated her birthday on March 7, marking what should have been a joyous occasion. But for the past three years, Prisca had reportedly been struggling with a lot of personal challenges, which may have taken a toll on her.
“She might have given up the fight,” confided a close friend to The Standard, hinting at the possibility that Prisca’s struggles may have contributed to her untimely demise.
As investigations into the cause of her death continue, Prisca’s body has been transferred to the MP Shah Hospital morgue pending a postmortem examination.
Prisca was born and raised in Busia County, and in 2015, she graduated from the University of Nairobi with a Bachelor of Commerce Degree, specializing in Human Resources. She went on to marry Ababu Namwamba later that same year, and together they had three children before divorcing in 2018
