Self-proclaimed President of comedy in Africa, Eric Omondi, has been in the limelight for some time now after criticizing Kenyan musicians. This comes a day after the Tusker October Festival has come to an end. Eric is currently beefing with Kenyan rapper Khaligraph Jones this not coming as news to many as the two have repeatedly been washing their dirty linens in public.
Eric who graced our screens back in the days as a comedian on the NTV’s comedy show dubbed Churchill has been quick to point out that Kenyan musicians are mediocre calling out the recent launch of Tiwa Savage’s Lipstick an event that witnessed Femi one perform.
Agitating for Kenyan media to pay 75% of Kenyan music, Eric remarked that he is confident the bill will pass and posted a picture of him and Embakasi legislator, Babu Owino claiming they were finalizing on the matter.
Eric has warned Papa Jones noting what he terms as disrespect from the musician claiming he had jetted out of the country to represent the nation among top comedians. He however referred to Papa Jones as a boy from Kayole who cannot lecture him.
