A young girl identified as Joyce Wangari Wanjiru, is currently fighting for her life after receiving a savere beating from her lover.
According to reports, the 23 year old girl had visited her boyfriend in Soweto area, Kahawa west on July 18th after she had received a request for an amorous moment with her said lover that same night.
In a strange twist turn of events, after arriving at her boyfriend’s house, their house turned into a boxing ring, where Joyce is said to have received a serious pummeling that caused her to kiss the innocent floor for several hours, it is still not yet clear what might have led to her boyfriend’s hideous act.
Joyce was later picked the next day, after her family received a call when her unconscious body was found in the same location.
She was later rushed to the Kenyatta national hospital for treatment and she was immediately admitted in the ICU following the pulsating beating from her lover.
The doctors have also released a report on her condition, where it is said that Joyce, might not be able to see again due to the swollen nature of her brain and the paralyzed left side of her body.
The perpetrator is said to be a monotonous wifebeater as it was revealed that he had beaten Joyce in previous months while pregnant to an extent that she miscarriaged her seven months old baby.
The incident was reported at Kahawa west police station under OB number 36/19/7/2022 and yet no action has been taken against the boorish son of the soil.
