Man Resurfaces And Claims To Be Nandy’s Long Lost Dad

by Jayden Musembi

A Tanzanian man identified as Charles Godfrey Mfinanga has come out to claim that he is singer Nandy’s long lost biological father. Geoffrey stated that Nandy’s mum disappeared with the singer’s pregnancy, and since he couldn’t reach out to her due to unavailability of phones, he parted ways with his beloved.

He spoke to Planet Bongo East Africa Radio, where he narrated the entire story which he claimed had been a bother for a very long time. The singer was raised by a man identified as Frank Mfinanga who died in 2019. Frank is said to have been a brother to Charles.

The man stated that he decided to come out publicly for the singer to decide on whether she would accept him as her father or she would deny him. He argued that those days, he was a committed church leader and therefore, he couldn’t find time to look for Nandy and her mum. He argued that the singer’s aunt was to blame for the separation. He stated,

“My name is  Charles Godfrey Mfinanga, Nandy’s mother disappeared when she was pregnant with my daughter. I was busy as a church leader and could not find time to look for them. Also at that time, there were no phones to call people. I saw it fit to come out and reveal myself so that she either accepts me or rejects me. I am her biological dad and the other one was the one who raised her.”
