Popular Kenyan Comedian and Radio Host Obinna has shared the kind of relationship he has with Jalang’o over the past few years. Obinna says that before he took Jalango’s slot at Kiss 100, the duo had been close friends and business associates.
The comedian-turned singer argued he has a similar ambition of joining politics. However, Oga Obinna landed a lucrative job before he devoted to politics. Earlier this year, Obinna replaced Jalang’o after he resigned his job to join politics.
Obinna added that just like his friend, he will join politics in the near future. The comedian also revealed that he has always followed in Jalang’o’s footsteps. Obinna opened up on how Jalang’o referred clients to him. He further stated, “We were speaking with Phelo (Jalang’o) yesterday and I was telling him that weird enough, every space he has been too, I have been into it too.From his house to jobs. Where he used to stay he left me his house. A lot of jobs he has done, he has always given me his clients, he has also handed over all the way to Kiss 100.
Obinna continued, “So he might handover Lang’ata too. But time will tell. I wanted to run for an MCA seat bin Makongeni, where I stayed for a while because I know all of their problems then I got a job. I had to weigh which one is priority.”
“I said, for me to help the people of Makongeni I have to upgrade myself first, build better networks so that when I run next time or even if I get connections I can help them without even running for office.” Obinna’s disclosure comes at a time when he has an existing rift with this baby mama. Mama Ada accused the comedian of intimidating her. The comedian would later argue that he will seek justice in court.
