Raila Odinga blasts Ruto and pledges to take care of single mothers if elected president
Raila Odinga, the chairman of the orange Democratic Movement (ODM), has assured single mothers that if he is elected president, he would safeguard them and their children. This was said by the former prime minister while speaking to Kiambu residents at Thika stadium today (Saturday) in the afternoon.
Raila Odinga made an additional pledge during the event, stating that his administration would provide free education from basic school to university level. Odinga couldn’t resist taking a jab at his opponent, William Ruto, whom he blasted for pledging to give youths wheelbarrows instead of providing them with employment and business opportunities.
People thought Baba is tired! This was nothing but 🔥 fire! Baba was on fire today. This must be shared to all Kenyans. Clear and candid as ever. Well articulated and Presented. Mwizi ni Mwizi. Asante Raila Odinga for being this grandeur! #AzimioMtaaniThika pic.twitter.com/D0HfZ3QlGF
