CS of education prof George magoha has issued a directive to all teachers to ban homosexual students among other students who try to disrupt studies in boarding schools.
According to Mr magoha he said that it was much better for homosexual students to study in a day school closer to their homes than to continue studying in boarding schoolS as they continued to bother other students.
“If there is a child who does not want to go to school and he wants to go rest with his parents let him go,It is actually rediculers for a child where there are 2,000 children,because you don’t want to read,because you take drugs,because you are homosexual because you want everyone to suffer, don’t be intimidated by such children “ The CS said.
Mr Magoha’s remarks angered a section of Netizens on Twitter,among them being prof Makau Mutua who accused the CS of being a bigot and Neanderthal.
“CS Magoha is a bigot and a Neanderthal. To bar gay children from boarding schools is unconstitutional, discriminatory, and inhuman. Being gay is as natural and African as being asexual, heterosexual, pan sexual, and bisexual. We must love ALL our kids no matter their sexualities.” Mr Makau said.
