Rattling snakes has never been for the faint of heart and it seems Eric Omondi just found out the hard way, The comedian’s recent social media rant has drawn the wrath of none other than the wife of gospel artist Guardian Angel, Esther Musila.
In a fiery Instagram story, Mrs. Musila didn’t hold back in her response to Eric Omondi’s accusations about her husband’s focus on music. She referred to busybodies as “tattletales,” reminding us that scripture warns against neglecting one’s work and going around looking for negative things to share with others.
“A busybody is just someone looking to make trouble by exerting false control over the lives of others. Busybodies are tattletales. Scripture says that busybodies are idle people who are neglecting their work and go around looking for negative things in the people around them. often to share with others as gossip or to share with an authority figure to make themselves look better (2 These. 3:11 – 12; 1 Tim. 5:13 )” Esther Musila said.
Netizens were quick to speculate that Mrs. Musila was indirectly slamming Eric Omondi for his accusations that Guardian Angel was no longer focused on releasing good gospel music but instead was solely focused on his wife.
In his controversial rant, Eric Omondi not only pointed fingers at Guardian Angel but also a host of other gospel artists including Alice Kamande, Mercy Masika, Daddy Owen, Kambua, and Jimmy Gait. He accused them of being too comfortable with the current state of the dying gospel industry.
But Eric Omondi didn’t stop there. He also called out former gospel artists like Bahati, Willy Paul, Mr. Seed, and Dk Kwenye Beat for spreading promiscuity among Kenyan youths. And let’s not forget self-proclaimed “chairman of the gospel industry” Ringtone Apoko, who Eric accused of sleeping with at least three girls per day and yet still considered himself a gospel minister.
Finally, Eric threatened to expose other established gospel artists who are secretly participating in homosexuality, contrary to biblical teachings. It seems the comedian has made a whole lot of enemies with this one and will have to brace himself for the consequences.
So, who will come out on top in this gospel industry feud? Only time will tell.
