Nairobi’s hip-hop scene has been set ablaze once again as the feud between rap heavyweights Khaligraph Jones and Octopizzo heats up. Just when we thought the dust had settled on this long-standing rivalry, it seems that the embers of discontent have been stoked yet again, leaving fans and fellow artists astonished.
In a recent interview that caught everyone off guard, Khaligraph Jones, known for his razor-sharp lyrics and unapologetic attitude, pulled no punches when addressing his contentious relationship with Octopizzo. “Hanipendangi huyo Boyz,” he quipped, implying that Octopizzo still holds a grudge against him.

However, Khaligraph seemed to take the high road, understanding Octopizzo’s perspective. “Ata mimi ningekuwa yeye, singejipenda,” he mused, acknowledging that he might not be everyone’s cup of tea. Surprisingly, the 33-year-old rapper even expressed his willingness to bury the hatchet when their paths cross, extending an olive branch of camaraderie.
But the olive branch didn’t hold for long as Khaligraph confidently asserted his dominance in the rap game. When it comes to lyrical prowess, he firmly stated, “Bro, kwa kurap, tuseme tu ukweli, hawaniwezi.” In essence, Khaligraph proclaimed himself untouchable in the realm of Kenyan rap, dismissing both Octopizzo and King Kaka as mere contenders. With the swagger that fans know him for, Khaligraph did concede, “Maybe kwa kuvaa nguo wanaweza kunishinda,” in a playful nod to their fashion choices.
