Kenyan entertainer Oga Obinna has been left disheartened after fellow artist Stevo Simple failed to show up for a crucial meeting with a potential client, jeopardizing his chance of securing a lucrative endorsement deal. “So this just happened, and I’m beyond disappointed at Stivo, his management, and his so-called ‘friend.’ I can’t believe what I’ve witnessed in the past week. I reached out to some influential contacts of mine, and one of them generously offered Stevo a one-year contract with @mo2bet. I immediately contacted Vaga, and scheduled a meeting days in advance, only for today to unfold the way it did. It’s truly disheartening. If we continue down this path…” Oga Obinna expressed, his tone filled with both concern and dismay.
Refusing to let his disappointment simmer down, Oga Obinna took to social media once again, extending his advice to fellow entertainers, warning them against indiscipline, poor time management, and misinformation.

“The behavior I’ve observed among Kenyan celebrities is astounding. Many suffer from misinformation. Did you know we have celebrities who struggle with punctuality at their own shows? Some even arrive with an entourage of people who serve no purpose in enhancing their brand. It’s a liability you don’t need. Ten to fifteen people don’t make a band; all you require is a manager, a personal assistant, and a photographer,” he emphasized, urging his peers to reassess their priorities.
Oga Obinna’s concerns expanded to the financial realm as he offered guidance on how celebrities can effectively translate their fame into financial stability.

“We’ve witnessed countless individuals with hit songs on the billboard who unfortunately lack the means to capitalize on their fame. They remain famous but financially destitute. Laziness plagues many of them, and a great number of Kenyan celebrities have been misled into believing they should hold out for a million shillings before putting in the work. My friends, if you wait for that elusive million, you’ll find yourself bankrupt. I’m not advocating for undervaluing yourself, but rather for assessing the true worth and proper compensation,” Oga Obinna advised.
