2 Juventus fans will face trial following racism claims at the Parc des Princes. It is alleged that the two fans made Nazi salutes during a Champions League football match with Paris Saint Germain football team on Tuesday. This is according to reports from the prosecutor’s office.
On Tuesday night, three adults and a young lad were arrested for making Monkey gestures during the game. It is alleged that the four individuals were present in the space that was meant for Juventus during the game.
They were allegedly identified using police surveillance cameras at the stadium. It was reported that three adults were arrested and were to be arraigned following those claims. However, one of the three individuals has not been charged since no evidence that proved he had committed any crime during the game.
The minor is said to have been banned from being in the area for a period of six months. UEFA has consequently opened Disciplinary measures against Juventus fans who are said to have engaged in racism.
It shall be recalled that Juventus lost the match on Tuesday last week after Lionel Messi and Mbappe scored and won the match for the home side team.
Juventus were lucky to get a goal in the match that ended with a scoreline of 2-1. Other matches that played include Liverpool and Napoli. The English side lost 4-1 in one of the most unexpected results of this year’s Champions league football.
