Jacque Maribe: Why I Will Never Sue My Baby Daddy Over Child Support

by Jayden Musembi

Renowned Kenyan media personality Jacque Maribe has revealed that she wouldn’t sue her baby daddy for child support. The former Citizen TV news presenter was responding to a fan who had advised her to sue her baby daddy for child support.

A fan stated, “she should start suing the kids father for money upkeep.” Jacque Maribe responded, “ala, you want to be enjoined in the case? Why sue when you have your own money? Hizo ni vitu siwezi fanya.”

This comes months after the socialite was engaged in an online rift with her alleged baby daddy Eric Omondi. Eric Omondi claimed that he wouldn’t consider providing child support for his son unless a DNA test was done.

Eric’s argument was based on, he used ‘protection’ with Jacque Maribe, and therefore, he couldn’t understand how the child was his unless a DNA test proved it. However, the duo would reconcile later after the intervention of Bonfire Adventures’ CEO Simon Kabu.

The media personality also revealed that she wanted a job in the new government. Taking to her Instagram stories, Jacque shared some message that had been shared online by a friend.

In the message, Jacque Maribe will be the Director of Communications at the Deputy president’s office. After the pronouncement of William Ruto as the president, Jacque Maribe argued that her prayers were answered despite the fact that she lost her close relative.

Jacque Maribe is currently facing a murder case that is still in court, following the gruesome murder of renowned businesswoman Monica Kimani.
