Various individuals have congratulated current president Elect William Ruto after he was declared to have won the elections fairly by the highest court of the land, the Supreme Court. Ruto has addressed the nation at his Karen Home stating there will be no handshake between him and Raila Odinga the chief opposition leader for the country for so long even before multi-party democracy politics begun.
Ruto has stated he will fight corruption during his tenure. Roots party leader George Wajackoyah congratulated the president elect stating
,’ We are going to hold the government of William Ruto accountable… we have fought a war and the supreme Court has decided so now what we need to do is live with harmony because life has to continue, ‘
Wajackoyah emerged third during the elections while Mwaure emerged last. On his part David Mwaure claimed he had a revelation from God that Ruto will win the elections.
