Machakos County Governor Madam Wavinya Ndeti has conducted a vehicle audit across all county vehicles, a move meant to streamline the transport sector. The Governor also argued that she was interested in taking stock of the County’s motor inventory.

While conducting the exercise, the Governor found that some vehicles had faulty number plates while others lacked plates at all. The Governor also stated that she wanted to harmonise the HR department by taking record of all County Vehicles and also cross check all missing vehicles in the County.

Madam Ndeti stated that the law would apply to those who broke it, adding that all County officials were urged to ensure that they maintained integrity in all departments to ensure efficient public service delivery.

Wavinya also attended Machakos Level five hospital and summoned all health workers who had continously hindered efforts by the County Government to provide proper health care facilities. The move came after the Governor received a special consignment of medical equipment and drugs from KEMSA.

Wavinya Ndeti stated that she would work diligently to ensure that Machakos County provided the best health care facilities across the country. The County boss cautioned all pharmacies and health facilities nearing Machakos County level 5 hospital from purchasing any medical equipment of drugs from the hospital.

This comes days after Wavinya Ndeti was sworn in as the second governor of the County. What are your thoughts on this story? Kindly share your insights down below.
