Roots party under the stewardship of Professor George Wajackoyah has summoned Justina Wamae who was the deputy flag bearer for the party days after the polls.
According to Roots party legal director, Wachira Washika, Justina will respond to the disciplinary committee after she took to the mainstream and social media releasing malicious statements contrary to the party’s agreements.
After William Ruto was declared president-elect, Wamae took to Twitter to congratulate Kenya Kwanza Coalition for winning the elections.
However, Wajackoyah had endorsed Raila Odinga for President.
,’ “It is in our knowledge that you have continuously disassociated yourself with the party and its ideologies. You have associated yourself with out opponents and advocated for their ideologies,’ read part of the letter.
Justina has been warned against making any utterances on behalf of the party as according to them it has made Roots party go through shame.
The letter continued to add
,’ We have instructions from the party leader to demand that you cease and desist from speaking, uttering, or purporting to speak on behalf of the Roots Party of Kenya,’
Roots party emerged third in the just concluded polls. Its manifesto stood out as they had promised to legalize bhang as well as introduce snake farming. Recently Wajackoyah denied claims of this party being a project.
