The opinion poll comes at a time when the presidential campaigns are intensifying in the country with Nakuru being considered a Ruto Zone. Well, speculations and rumours escalating state that Raila is slowly becoming popular in the region, with only a few days left before the election kick-starts.

In what is described as the most competitive general election in Kenya’s history, the left days are important in deciding the side that will emerge victorious. Recent polls have stated that Raila Odinga is more popular in major cities across the country.

However, the Kenya Kwanza team has declined the recent polls, adding that the polls cannot define the true will and decision of Kenyans in the August 9th General election. William Ruto has continued to champion for his agenda in saving the country from its worst economy state, arguing that he will empower the small business enterprises and create more jobs for the young people.

On his side, Raila has argued that his administration will offer free education, create a free health insurance plan dubbed Baba care, offer the jobless a stipend of ksh. 6000, empower the textile industry and champion for local products. Azimio has also outlined key plans to fight corruption should they win the August election.
