So Kenyan artist Otile Brown has been trying to scribble his latest songs in English unlike others that he has written in swahili and as usual Kenyans had mixed reactions especially after the Jamila crooner dropped an english song dubbed Sempre. While some congratulated him for diversifying his art, others fingered the song and even went to the extent of comparing him to kibera’s finest stivo Simple Boy.

A random fan commented on his latest english song saying: Otile akiimba kizungu, anasound kama simple boy, music is a universal language just continue embracing your swahili music.

An angry Otile immediately fired back at the fan via his insta stories with a string of posts defending his English songs. He warned the alleged fan saying that people need to embrace new ideas and stop criticizing the artists who try to diversify their art.

He also urged his fans to stop downplaying his english songs since his lingo is far much better than some people.

” Mzee & how dare y’all downplay my English songs like that – my lingo must be way ahead of y’all find taste my G  pay attention acha kua bendera tata upepo know ish.. I said what said fema jet lag mzee..can’t sleep got me coming at some of y’all,” He concluded.
