I Have No Issue With Paying Billions To Exit Wasafi- Zuchu

by Jayden Musembi

Renowned Wasafi signee Zuchu says that she has no issue with paying billions of money incase she’d want to quit the record label. While speaking to Wasafi TV, Zuchu stated, “The day I went to sign my contract with WCB my mum was present and other people who acted as witnesses.”

“When an artiste decides to stay or leave a label I believe every contract has an agreement favouring both sides. You sat and agreed , if it’s a hole you entered into you dug the whole yourself. If there were things you wanted changed you had the chance to do so yourself. Everything is negotiable.”

The singer added that even before she joined Wasafi, artists were leaving the record label. She claimed that if the decision was depended on other things, she would have signed a contract for the same.

Her response came hours after the Wasafi Boss claimed that if she wanted to exit the record label, she would have to pay billions. Diamond Platinumz was replying a comment from a curious social media user who requested to know the amount of money the ‘Sukari’ hit maker would have to pay.

The fan asked, “@diamondplatinumz   if Zuchu wanted to leave the label right now how much would you demand from her because she is a bigger artist than Biggy right now?”

In his response, Diamond Platinumz stated, “aahh huyo si chini ya 10 billion si unaona manamba yake huko mjini Youtube baba.” When translated to Kenyan shillings, Zuchu would be required to pay an amount of not less than ksh514million.
