Ezra Chiloba the director general of Communication Authority Of Kenya has completely changed his directive on sim registration.
Earlier, the directive was that every Kenyan was to register their sim cards afresh failure to which they would risk their lines getting shutdown.
Kenyans were given a timeline to work with the last day being the 15th of April something that did not sit well with Kenyans.
Kenyans being Kenyans they didn’t mince their words when it came to tabling their thoughts on the threats issued simply because of having to register their lines again. Speculations have it that the stones that Kenyans threw had a hand in Chiloba’s change his mind. You can never win a fight against Kenyans!
Ezra Chiloba , has now said that only unregistered lines will need to be registered .
