Bahati Cries His Eyes Out As He Is Asked To Step Down From Mathare Mp Race

by Ramskie Duevela

Earlier today, Bahati addressed the press to air out his grievances.

Bahati expressed his disappointment and hurt as he was asked to recall his certificate and step down from the race for the current member of parliament representing Mathare.

Bahati claims that the reason he was asked to step down is because the MP of Mathare feels threatened by him and feels like he stands no chance against Bahati as he allegedly has support from the inhabitants of Mathare.

“I am being told I need to recall the certificate and step down for the seating mp because he is threatened and feels like if I am in the ballot, the seat won’t go back to ODM …”

He additionally claimed that there’s zoning of areas in the country and Mathare has unfortunately been zoned as an ODM area hence they do not want anyone with another party, Jubilee in this case, take the win.

“ I know there is zoning and Mathare has been zoned as an ODM area. Please give the youth a chance . Give the people of Mathare a chance to get the leader they have always wanted…”

Bahati even went ahead to pull the “all the favors I did for you” card with the hope that the president and Raila Odinga will reconsider their decision of asking him to step down.

you know so well that I am a loyal member of the jubilee party I campaigned for the president in 2017. I did 555 stops around the country. Mr. President and the party officials in Jubilee even the ones that left know my loyalty to you to the fifth Raila Amollo Odinga, I am the only urban artist in this country that officially stood up and endorsed you. I even did a song without pay. That shows I am supporting the azimio vision. Please do not kill the hearts of the youth in azimio….”

I request you to intervene and in a humble way I say no and I am not recalling my certificate and I will be on the ballot on the 9th of August…”
