Nominated Senator Isaac Mwaura has denied reports that Amani National Congress (ANC) leader Musalia Mudavadi would be the deputy of Ruto in the new political pact announced at Bomas.
During a breakfast interview, Mwaura disclosed that the role of Deputy President in Ruto’s administration was designated for a figure from the Mount Kenya area and that won’t change.

Many Kenyans and political analysts who thought Mudavadi would deputize Ruto are now confused as a result of Mwaura’s remarks. In his speech at Bomas of Kenya, the Deputy President said that the ANC and UDA party will hold joint rallies across the country before giving further direction about their new alliance.
