The Azimio la Umoja Deputy presidential candidate Martha Karua has stated that victory will be on the coalition’s side after the Supreme Court’s final ruling. The Azimio la Umoja deputy presidential candidate expressed confidence that the coalition will emerge victorious finally.
Martha Karua assured her supporters that they will seek all legal measures to ensure that they get justice and the right winner is declared.
She stated, “Our is victory differed but victory is coming home to everyone as we explore all legal and constitutional avenues. Thank you for supporting us and we will not let you down.”
She went ahead and argued that the Azimio camp has more members of Parliament than Kenya Kwanza, arguing that they plan on how they would implement and execute their mandate in government. She continued, “Our figures show that we command the National Assembly, in the Senate, our competitors are up by one but in the National Assembly we command.”
Martha Karua was speaking at KICC where she had met the affiliate leaders who won in the just concluded general election. This comes after the Azimio Presidential candidate Raila Odinga rejected the results which claimed that the Kenya Kwanza presidential candidate was the winner.
