Wachunguzwe! The Bahatis and the wajesus family accused of faking their lives

by Chief Okuzo

Following her fearless takedown of David Osiany and his significant other, the rebellious internet sensation Aoko has shifted her attention towards two prominent power couples in Kenya—the Bahatis and the Wajesus family.

Taking to the Twitterverse to express her unfiltered thoughts, Aoko candidly remarked:

“Can anyone explain to me why any sane adult would subject themselves to the Bahatis, the Wa Jesus, or this collection of so-called ‘content’? It’s nothing more than mind-numbing gossip and insipid comedy. I struggle to comprehend it. Only a few manage to provide any wit or wisdom. Most of it is a mental workout in futility. Viewers are left with a false sense of envy for counterfeit lifestyles, all while applauding mediocrity.”

It’s worth noting that this isn’t the first time these influential couples have faced such scathing criticism. Not too long ago, the online community pointed accusatory fingers at Bahati and his wife Diana Marua, alleging that they were living a façade rather than embracing their true reality. These claims stemmed from Bahati’s series of extravagant gifts bestowed upon his wife—a spanking-new Toyota Landcruiser Prado TX fresh off the dealership lot, a luxurious four-bedroom mansion, and a substantial parcel of land—all within the span of a week. In defense of his actions, Bahati clarified that his humble beginnings did not impede his capacity to maintain a lavish lifestyle.

Likewise, the Wajesus family encountered their fair share of accusations, with skeptics questioning their authenticity when Kabi wa Jesus surprised his wife with a brand-new Land Rover Discovery, claiming it to be a push gift for their one-year-old daughter. Kabi attributed this grand gesture to divine timing. The moment was emotionally charged for Milly, yet fans couldn’t help but raise doubts about the genuineness of her tears. Many speculated that the car served as nothing more than a prop for the cameras, pointing out the couple’s peculiar decision to withhold the vehicle’s number plates from public display.
