- A video of Prophet Kanyari has angered social media users
- In 2014, Kanyari was exposed by Mohamed Ali and Allan Namu
- The preacher would ask for money in exchange of ‘fake miracles’
Renowned Gospel Minister Prophet Kanyari is back. This time round, the preacher has identified himself as Bishop Mwangi, switching from his previous.
His new move of asking for cash in exchange of fake miracles is now on, and Kenyans are already angered by his actions. Previously, the preacher was exposed for charging money in exchange of instant miracles, where he promised his followers of great things that never came to pass.

In some incidences, the preacher was put on the spot for staging ‘miracles’ to attract more followers.
Years back, Kanyari would tell his faithful followers to pay an equivalent amount of Ksh.310. He would later proceed to pray for them. However, things didn’t end well for him, as former KTN’s news reporter Mohamed Ali and Allan Namu exposed his con habits.
Kanyari would change his mobile numbers while using multiple IDs. Through his cone schemes, the latter would deceive innocent followers who were looking forward to receive ‘miracles’ from the self-proclaimed prophet.
However, it seems like the wave is still present, as a recent video clip that surfaced on social media proved it. Kanyari would be heard telling his followers to send him money and in the process, he would sent them higher amounts.
However, the comment section was full of dissatisfied Kenyans, who couldn’t believe how some individuals fell for the the con trap. The preacher was once put on the spot for assaulting women by touching them, a move that he would later refute. Other self-proclaimed prophets have since been exposed for conning their followers.
