Nigerian singer Kizz Daniel has been arrested by Tanzanian police detectives following his alleged refusal to perfom on Sunday’s concert (August 7, 2022). The singer, who had fans anticipating for his concert argued that he failed to appear for the concert due to unavailability of his clothes.
A video that has since gone viral on social media showed angry fans vandalising the stage while others leaving the concert.
Angry fans claimed that they paid upto $5000 for front tables just to see the singer perform. Another video that has resurfaced on social media exposed the singer’s arrest that is said to have been mobilised by his fans.

This event makes it three incidences when the singer is said to have disappointed fans for not appearing on stage. Earlier in July of this year, Kizz Daniel was dragged for disappointed his fans. Another concert that was scheduled on July 28 in Denver was cancelled.
Responding to his arrest, some fans claim that the punishment served him right for always disappointing them despite parting away with thousands of dollars. Kizz Daniel’s team argued that his clothes worth N14M given to a laundry bus were damaged.

The provocation seen by fans translated to them throwing cups and bottles on the stage before exiting the scene. Another perfomance at DMV, United States saw fans provoked by his late perfomance. Fans booed at him for arriving late on stage.
