Kenyan pastor John CW has made history as the first Kenyan pastor to be featured in a Nollywood film, starring in the latest installment of the acclaimed Prophet Suddenly series, produced by Nigeria’s popular Christian filmmakers, the Winlos.
In Prophet Suddenly Part 3, Pastor John CW plays the role of a Kenyan clergyman who welcomes a Nigerian gospel music minister, James, to minister in his church. The film, which explores themes in the global gospel music scene, was shot across Kenya, Nigeria, and the United States — marking it as an international production.

The third part in the series examines the commercialization of gospel music, highlighting how some ministers have turned divine gifts into profit-driven ventures. This theme follows the trajectory of the previous two films: Part One tackled deception in prophetic ministries, while Part Two focused on prophets who fabricate divine messages for personal gain.
In addition to Pastor John CW, the film also features prominent Nigerian faith leaders and gospel personalities, including Apostle Arome Osayi, Prophet Joel Ogebe, Pastor Lawrence Oyor, and Pastor Phillip Olubakin, alongside a talented cast of actors and actresses.
Prophet Suddenly Part 3 is scheduled for official release on May 18, 2025, on the Winlos YouTube channel, promising viewers a powerful message and cross-cultural Christian collaboration.
