DJ Mo and Size 8 Call It Quits After 11 Years – The Real Reason Behind Their Breakup

by Chief Okuzo

Could this be the reason behind DJ Mo and Size 8’s split? After 11 years of marriage, on July 31st, Size 8 announced her new single status and her separation from her husband, the gospel DJ known as DJ Mo.

“Sometimes marriage works by God’s grace, and sometimes it doesn’t—but God is still on the throne! I’ve been married for 11 years, and now I start the journey of singlehood. But God is still on the throne, I worship you, Yahweh!” she declared on her Instagram page.

Reflecting on their marriage, it’s clear that there have been turbulent times at home, reaching a peak in 2020 when DJ Mo was publicly accused of infidelity by blogger Edgar Obare. According to the screenshots shared, a woman claimed she had been involved with DJ Mo since 2016, despite not currently residing in Kenya.

Margaret Wanyama, the alleged other woman, shared purported intimate conversations and images, including compromising photos of DJ Mo. This revelation deeply humiliated Size 8, especially after allegations surfaced about her purported inadequacies in their intimate life.

Despite the scandal, which resulted in DJ Mo losing his job at NTV, where he hosted the gospel show “Crossover,” the couple appeared to reconcile and even renewed their vows. However, rumors of ongoing problems persisted, albeit without concrete proof. Finally, at the end of July, Size 8 confirmed the end of her marriage by proclaiming herself single. Despite her announcement, many Kenyans remain skeptical, suspecting that the divorce might be a publicity stunt by the couple.
