In a heartwarming gesture aimed at lifting Stevo Simple Boy back on his feet, Mumias East Member of Parliament, Peter Salasya, has extended a helping hand to the talented rapper following his recent public outcry.
During a meeting with Stevo Simple Boy, Peter Salasya made a heartfelt promise to secure a new house for the artist by Monday, July 3rd, 2023. Not stopping there, he pledged to fully furnish the house and cover three months’ rent expenses.

“By Monday, you will have a brand new house. I will take care of furnishing it and pay your rent for the next three months,” assured Salasya, displaying his commitment to supporting the artist in his time of need.
In addition to providing practical assistance, the Member of Parliament offered words of advice to Stevo Simple Boy, cautioning him against relying on managers who may take advantage of him. Salasya emphasized that many managers he had encountered in the industry had exploited artists like Stevo Simple Boy.

Furthermore, Salasya directed criticism towards Oga Obinna for recently chastising Stevo Simple Boy over a failed endorsement deal. “I have also seen Obinna’s comments. It’s all nonsense. Are you a millionaire? You cannot claim to offer millions when you don’t actually help. Stop carrying this young man’s story, gaining attention, and not providing any real support,” Salasya expressed.

To ensure Stevo Simple Boy’s future stability, Peter Salasya announced plans to construct a house for him in his hometown of Oyugis. He granted a 15-day grace period to those who had previously promised to build a house for the artist. If they failed to fulfill their promises within the given timeframe, Salasya pledged to step in and construct the house himself.
“I will personally build you a house in Oyugis. I have given those who made promises 15 days to fulfill them. If they don’t, I will take the initiative and construct the house for you,” stated Salasya, highlighting his unwavering commitment to improving Stevo Simple Boy’s living conditions.
