The truth Behind Raila Odinga’s KDD 233P media vehicle attacked by police

by Chief Okuzo

In a whirlwind of ruckus and revelations, Raila Odinga’s media Van has captured the attention of city dwellers, as it felt the unrelenting fury of the police during Azimio’s uproarious protests. Not only did this unsuspecting transport find itself on the receiving end of endless teargas, launched by men in uniform, but its curious number plate has set the Twittersphere abuzz with intrigue.

Photos circulating the interwebs show the vehicle sporting a seemingly altered ‘KDD 233B’ plate. However, eagle-eyed social media sleuths have disclosed a dastardly deception: the license has been tampered with, transforming a once placid ‘P’ into a brazen ‘B’. The plot thickens as images of the true ‘KDD 233P’ emerge, leaving netizens aghast and questioning how this vehicle could slip past Nairobi’s busy streets without the police noticing it.

As one Twitter detective pondered, “KDD 233P is the original number plate they altered it using a wire tape. Why alter the number plate? This car was carrying who and what? What has this car been carrying?”

The vehicle’s moment in the limelight ignited when a video surfaced of a plain-clothed officer hurling a relentless rain of teargas canisters into the vehicle during the Azimio protests in Eastlands Embakasi. The beleaguered van, part of Raila Odinga’s motorcade, was ferrying members of the press covering the opposition leader’s impassioned protests.

Despite forging ahead and addressing his fervent followers, Odinga’s progress was met by legions of police, who dispersed his supporters with a volley of teargas. It was then that a mysterious officer made his move, assaulting the press-packed vehicle with a fusillade of gas. Tragically, one journalist sustained severe facial injuries in the tumultuous encounter.

As the video continues its viral voyage, netizens and press corps alike have condemned the authorities for targeting journalists amidst the ongoing chaos.
