Is Jeff’s death going to spark a feud between Mugithi stars DJ Fatxo and Samidoh? That’s the question on everyone’s lips as the details surrounding Jeff Mwathi’s untimely demise continue to unfold.
As it turns out, Jeff was Samidoh’s nephew, a fact that was confirmed when the Kikuyu benga star attended Jeff’s burial a few days ago. But while netizens took to social media to demand answers from Samidoh, who also happens to be an officer of the law, the singer remained tight-lipped.
So what’s the deal? Could it have something to do with the fact that DJ Fatxo, who was alleged with Jeff when he died, is also a fellow Mugithi star?
According to a post by Samidoh himself, he has been following up on the matter “under wraps” and is committed to finding justice for his late nephew. “It has been 16 days of grief, confusion, and endless trips to relevant offices in pursuit of justice. I am glad we are finally headed in the right direction,” he wrote.
But some netizens are unconvinced and have urged Samidoh to speak up and not spare DJ Fatxo, who is linked to Jeff’s death. However, Samidoh revealed to Betty Maina, one of the people working with him closely on the case, that he doesn’t want to publicly attack DJ Fatxo, lest people conclude that he is jealous of the rising star.
“For the times we’ve been talking I know how to hurt you have always been, you bitterly told me that if you attempt to fight on social media, the matter would have picked a different route. Many people would have castigated you to be fighting him because of either being jealous of another star. We did not give up as promised. I am happy, this matter has taken the course in the right direction,” commented Betty Maina.
