Days after the untimely passing of South African rapper AKA, a chilling video has surfaced featuring a Nigerian prophet delivering a fateful prophecy about the rapper’s death. In the video dated January 22, 2023, Prophet David Uche can be seen delivering his dire predictions to South African celebrities AKA and Somizi.
“The graves of two South African celebrities have been freshly dug, and there’s an attack against them,” warned the prophet in the video. “I urge the nation to pray for AKA, whose real name is Kiernan Forbes, and Somizi, as South Africa is under a dark cloud of doom.”
The prophet went on to say, “South Africa is undergoing punishment, and lions will be walking the streets. I received a voice on Tuesday warning of wild beasts moving around. And, lo and behold, just a day later, news broke of a cheetah on the loose. This is the sinister plan of the Kingdom of Darkness for the nation.”
The prophecy has sent shockwaves through the South African community, as many are left wondering if there is any truth to the prophet’s predictions.

AKA and his close friend, the chef, and entrepreneur Tebello ‘Tibz’ Motsoane, were reportedly shot by two armed men while walking to their car after a night out. The motive behind the killing is currently under investigation, with police not ruling out the possibility of a hit.
AKA, who began his music career as part of the rap group Entity, was a celebrated artist in South Africa, winning several awards for his music. He was also recognized internationally, with several nominations for a BET Award and an MTV Europe Music Award. Just hours before his death, AKA had posted on social media about his upcoming album, “Mass Country,” set for release later this month.
Forbes’ parents paid tribute to their son, calling him a beloved father, son, and friend to many. Motsoane, who was also AKA’s former manager, has been described as “a true gentleman” on social media.

South Africa unfortunately has one of the highest murder rates in the world, with an estimated 30 people being murdered with guns daily. The charity Gun Free South Africa is working to reduce gun violence in the country.
Regardless, one thing is for certain, AKA’s passing has left a deep wound in the hearts of his fans, and the world of hip-hop will never be the same. Rest in peace, AKA.
