Opposition leader and Azimio La Umoja One Coalition Leader, Raila Odinga, has called out on William Ruto terming his government as a one-man regime that is quickly turning its back On Kenyans.

Addressing members of the public and the press on Thursday, Mr. Odinga was quick to attack Ruto’s various decisions days after being elected into office claiming the son of Sugoi has a personal Vendetta with former Directorate of Criminal Investigations [DCI] boss Mr. George Kinoti.

Kinoti administered under former president Kenyatta’s regime and left office immediately after the former president did. Recently claims emerged that the office of the DCI under the disbanded Special Services Unit[ SSU] was involved in extra-judicial killings in the country with William Ruto calling for a probe into the matter leading to the arrest of the members of the unit.

In his address, Raila also raised questions about the missing Indians who disappeared in the company of their driver. The former prime minister stated that Ruto seems to be looking for some Indians he lost during the August general elections claiming they are also human beings who deserved to live. Raila believes that Kenya’s fifth president has a grudge against the former DCI boss.

William Ruto’s grudge against George Kinoti and the DCI started way before the elections. Ruto appears to believe that the coming of the UDA regime is an opportunity for him to punish State officers he long had a grudge against. We’re here to say no!”. stated Raila.

He further added that in as much as the president is speeding up investigations concerning the death of Indians and also what he called a witch hunt for the former DCI boss, the head of state should also explain the death of other Kenyans. Raila did not fail to mention Meshack Yebei who was a witness in Ruto’s case at the ICC, who was also murdered. Hebei was abducted on the 17th of December 2014 in Eldoret only for his body to be found at the Tsavo National Park.

Raila further stated that  Ruto is attempting to sacrifice state officers, who in the line of duty, have rubbed politicians the wrong way and who are now being selectively punished for doing their job.
