Rayvanny Appreciates Diamond For His Support In Their Music Journey

Born Raymond Shaban Mwakusa and known for his stage name Rayvanny, the Tanzanian musician has thanked his long term brother Diamond for helping him in his music career.Despite their trouble in paradise after Rayvanny ditched record label Wasafi to work alone, the popular bongo musician has penned an appreciation message to Wasafi’s boss . The duo which has collaborated in several songs from Kwangwaru to Zilizopendwa had earlier parted ways but from the look of things they are still brothers.

Rayvanny while explaining how their latest collabo came to be stated that they were talking qith Diamond via call then the latter suggested they do a song together before the year ends, Rayvanny seconded the idea. Taking to instagram Vannyboy stated

,’Yani ilikua asilimia 99.9 naachia huu wimbo…. nakumbuka my brox simba kuna siku nilikua naongea nae kwenye simu , katikati ya mazungumzo akaniambia ( ebhana eeh sema tunaweza piga goma lingine maana mwisho wa mwaka huu tupange tuue . 

Nikamjibu sawa big ngoja tupange session tuuee…….. sasa wakati nawaza kupanga kwenda studio nikasema hivi kwanini hili goma nisimtumie bwana simbaa maaana namjua hadi mufike muafaka hua tunakuaga na options nyingi sana ila nilipo mtumia tu !!!! masaa machache baadae kauaaaaaaaa,”. 

Vannyboy joined Wasafi releasing his first single dubbed ‘kwetu’, he would then go on to have a successful music career under the tutelage of Wasafi’s boss Diamond. He started his own record label NLM.
