Kate Actress Celebrates Her Husband As They Turn Five

The duo tied their knots in 2017.

As the couple celebrated their fifth anniversary today, former mother-in-law actress Catherine Kamau (aka Kate Actress) wrote a penned a message to her husband. The actor, who has had an impressive career so far, first gained notoriety for her portrayal as Selina on Citizen TV. Selina has just become a household figure in the film business, flying the flag for her nation with such pride.

Phil Karanja, a well-known actor who attended Tahidi High and regularly appeared on Citizen TV, is married to Catherine. In a post on her Instagram page, the actress thanked Phil for being her supporter.

She has featured in the 2019 romantic comedy film “Plan B,” where she played the role of Joyce, produced by Sarah Hassan and directed by the Nigerian filmmaker, Dolapo Adeleke (Lowladee). For her role in Plan B, she was nominated for the Best Supporting Actress in the Film category in the 9th edition of the Kenya Film Commission Kalasha Awards 2019.

As a member of the lead cast, Catherine has also made appearances in a few films, including The Grand Little Lie (GLL). On October 1st, 2021, the film debuted. She is also a content creator active on YouTube. She talkes about acting, motherhood, fashion, and other subjects on her YouTube channel. She is deeply concerned with the problem of teen pregnancies. She counseled young females to delay becoming moms as she had done so during her first year in campus.
