On February 5, 1985, in the Portuguese island of Madeira, Cristiano Ronaldo dos Santos Aveiro was born. Elma and Liliana Cátia, as well as Hugo, are Cristiano’s two older sisters. Ronald Reagan, a former US president who had influenced his father, served as the model for his given name.
Aside from that, Cristiano studied how to perfect his footballing abilities in the island of Madeira. He started out playing football for his hometown team, Nacional, and by the time he was 12 years old, he had established himself as one of Madeira’s top players. It didn’t take long for other significant Portuguese clubs to begin to take notice of him. The desire for her son was to play with players like Figo, and he ultimately decided to play for Sporting, a team that his mother loved and supported growing up.
Ronaldo’s illustrious career began at Manchester United and later Real Madrid, where he won multiple titles, before he left to join Juventus and eventually returned to Manchester United. The star’s first season with United was not terrible, since he received a great deal of playing time. This season, Ronaldo has lost favor with his new manager Eric Teen Hag and has spent more time on the bench. Ronaldo criticized the club’s inadequate communication, claiming,
,’I was very, very, very, very disappointed for the communication of Manchester United. To be honest, I never had a problem with any club, with any coach and they suspend me three days, which I felt was a lot.”
Ronaldo came out to air his grievances, alleging that the manager and a number of others at the time treated him disrespectfully. He wished Arsenal would win the premier league title if Manchester didn’t.
,’I hope Arsenal win the Premier League, if it’s not Manchester United. If Manchester United don’t win the Premier League, I’ll be happy if Arsenal do. I like the team. I like the coach. I think Arsenal have a good team,”
Ronaldo continued by saying that he presently has his attention primarily on the world cup since he thinks it is a game that everyone can enjoy. The 2016–17 Europa League, won by Manchester United under Jose Mourinho, is the most significant prize won by the club in the post–Ferguson era.
