Renowned media personality Nana Owiti has penned down a lengthy and heartfelt message to her son as he turned 5. The social media influencer couldn’t hide her excitement, as Prince Iroma was a blessing she had continously requested from God five years ago.
She wanted a boy. Nana Owiti, wife to renowned Kenyan rapper King Kaka narrated the joy her son has brought to the family since he was born. She described him as a smart gentleman who loves football and mathematics. Taking to her Instagram page, Nana Owito wrote,
“17th Jan 2017 that’s when I discovered I was
pregnant with my second child. I was confused and scared as I was still dealing with trauma from my first born’s birth Heck! I was on birth control. Anyway, the next few days were hard but I made peace. Then I started to pray for a boy. I had a girl already.”
“So a thought a baby boy and we are done with this In our family, it’s just my sister @portiahagusu and I and so I wanted a bit more testosterone in this family I told my close friends that I could feel it in my gut that it’s a boy and if it was then I would call him IROMA and if it’s a girl then I would love her nevertheless and call her IMORA.”
“My friends would rub my tummy once in a while
and call me Mama Iroma and if they wanted to piss me off they would say, ‘Imora ako a je?’ I hardly answered and they quickly knew how to get into my good books( @souljagall you know you are the culprit here).”
“The months that followed I would continue to pray and punish my female friends by wanting to be around them all the time Long story short, On Friday the 22nd Sept 2017 my baby made his Debut at 8pm. 5yrs later, he’s different from the rest. He has a powerful personality. He’s brainy and such a REBEL. Bro! He’s the only Manchester United fan in the family. He won’t be fazed by that decision either. He loves what he loves especially auto mobiles and he talks less.”
“Also he’s a Mathematician. The other day, he said we should call him Dr. Ombima and that’s what he goes by these days. This is the only year that you @princeiroma kept asking when your birthday is coming especially since your birthday came after everybody’s. You looked at me like I could do something. I wish I could Dr. Ombima, whenever you will see this, you try me and you teach me. You are special. You are unstoppable and I love you infinity. Happy happy 5th birthday my baby. We party next weekend.” What are your thoughts on this story? Share your insights down below.
