A woman in Kiambu has confessed her love for Azimio’s flag-bearer Raila Odinga. The woman who was in the campaign trail of the former Prime minister confessed her love and received a quick response from the leader. In his response, Raila stated, “Asante, I love you too.”
The crowd was left wagging by Raila’s response. However, don’t get it twisted because Raila Odinga is still married to his wife Idah Odinga. The woman is said to be a huge fan of Raila Odinga.
Narrating how he met his wife Idah Odinga, the ODM leader stated that he met her when he was a lecturer at the University of Nairobi. This was way before Mr Odinga joined active politics in Kenya. Raila argued that he had gone to visit Idah’s brother accompanied by his cousin at Pangani.
When Mr Odinga arrived, Idah and her sisters were having a get-together event. At the time, Raila Odinga’s wife admitted that she didn’t see anything more than just friendship.
The first meeting ignited Raila Odinga’s plan to harch a meeting with her and confess his feelings. It was until Sep 1, 1973 when Raila wedded Ida. A few days ago, a video of the ODM leader dancing with a Congolese star Mbilia Bel went viral. Raila Odinga introduced the artist after informing the crowd that he had come with a surprise visitor.
