3 Naivasha ‘Witchdoctors’ Arrested For Conning A Mason Ksh135,000

Drama arose in Naivasha after 3 witchdoctors were arrested for conning a casual worker ksh135,000. This came after the witchdoctors convinced a labourer that his wife’s movements would be contained after he suspected her of having an extra marital affair.

While conducting the arrest, police officers found the woman’s pants socked in a jerrican. The man approached the trio, who promised to sort his problem at a fee but failed to deliver.

An elder identified as Evans Mwai stated that the three witchdoctors demanded a fee of ksh135,000, his wife’s panties, her hair among other paraphernalia that would aid in stopping the woman’s bad behaviour.

However, things didn’t work as expected but instead, they got worse. The man received advice from friends who told him to take the matter to the police. The Police OCPD stated that the trio would be charged for obtaining money through false pretence.

He stated, “The three had promised that they would make sure that the woman in question stopped straying but they failed to deliver.” In other news, a postmortem that was done on a boy aged 12 in Naivasha showed that the young boy was smothered till death.

It was also found that before being killed, the young boy was sodomised and his body dumped at a maize plantation. Investigations are ongoing, with the police promising to get to the root cause of the boy’s death. The incident has left the residents in fear and shock. What are your thoughts on this story?
