Kenya’s political records will take a new twist on August 9th. With Interim Electoral and Boundaries Commission (IEBC) confirming the arrival of ballot papers yesterday, netizens are waiting patiently for the polls. According to Tifa polls the horses to watch include Azimio La Umoja coalition and Kenya Kwanza Coalition who are leading the race to state house.
Tifa shows that the United Democratic Alliance remains the most popular political party with 41% as ODM follows closely with 34%. Jubilee comes in third followed by Roots party under the steership of Professor George Wajackoyah while those undecided on their political Stand remain at 3%.
Tifa has also revealed that Kenyans are happy with incumbent president Uhuru Kenyatta’s performance from projects like the Standard Gauge Railway and roads. Kenyans however complained of the rise in commodity prices as well as corruption levels in the country.
Today The president is leading the commissioning of the music school in Lang’ata. All political camps are hastening their campaigns in a bid to ensure Kenyans vote for them.
Azimio allied took their campaigns to Mathare with Wiper party rallying the event promising to help the people. Raila Odinga, Azimio’s flag bearer took his campaigns to Machakos as they were prayed for in a bid to spread a peace message.
