Mary Aloo, mother to the late Chris Msando has requested Kenyans to elect a leader who will steer the country forward and ensure that it is protected from any form of aggression. The 85-year-old spoke while at her Ugenya home, where she drummed support for the Azimio candidate Raila Odinga.
Mary argued that Raila Odinga is the best candidate who fits to steer the country forward post the August 9th General election.
She stated, “I want to urge Kenyans to vote for Raila since he is the one who will change this country.” However, she argued that she is still in pain following the brutal murder of her son in 2017. She argued that since the murder of Chris, the government has remained silent on the matter, adding that all she has are the memories of her late son Chris Msando.
She stated, “We have never received any information from the government regarding the death of my son. We have never been called to court over the issue.”
The family is planning to hold a commemoration ceremony on July 30th in remembrance of the departed hero. The murder of the former IEBC Manager remains one of the unresolved deaths of high profile officials in government.
It shall be recalled that Msando was confident that the system that had been put in place would not support the rigging of votes in the 2017 General election. What are your thoughts on this story? Kindly share your insights down below.
