ODM iende Nyanza SIsi tuko na vyama vyetu. Tunapatia yeye kura moja ya urais na sitaki anisaidie huku, watu wa ODM wakae Nyanza , atuheshimu huku ,’ asserted Jirongo.

Earlier the Azimio La Umoja One Kenya Coalition made a decision to adopt a plan that will see one candidate being filled for a particular seat in a bid to gather many votes and capture many seats avoiding rivalry.

Azimio had a plan to conduct opinion polls in which they will know who is the most preffered candidate to contest for various political seats. After this the others who are not popular should rally behind the favorite candidate.

Many aspirants have shunned this decision including Cyrus Jirongo. Meanwhile in Thirika Nithi aspirant Mzalendo Kibunjia also protested claims of being told to rally behind Erastus Njoka , his Jubilee counterpart. Mzalendo who is the former director general of the Nation Museums of Kenya unveiled his manifesto and named his running mate.

With the August polls fast approaching, every coalition is trying as much as possible to ensure it will gather more votes and clinch the coveted seats.
