Tanzanian singer Ben Pol has exposed reasons that led to his divorce with Keroche heiress Anerlisa Muigai. It shall be recalled that the duo got married in March of 2020, but their love got sour months later, which forced Ben Pol to file for divorce in 2021.
Narrating how his fallout with Anerlisa made him feel, the singer disclosed that he’s not in a hurry to secure another marriage. As it is said, “Once bitten twice shy,” Ben Pol is not in the right state of mind to marry again. However, he stated that women who like him can try their luck.
When the singer was requested to speak about the lessons he learnt from his union with Anerlisa, Ben stated that he couldn’t regret, arguing that he took it as a life’s lesson. The singer is currently not looking for a lover, but if by any chance love finds him, he won’t tie himself from falling in love.
He added that he couldn’t say their separation was due to one reason, however, it was God’s plan for them not to end up together. Ben stated that they broke up twice before he resolved to file for a divorce that took a few months to be finalised.
Months after he divorced Anerlisa, Ben Pol his feelings for the Kenyan diva had ‘died’, adding that he had moved on with his life. The Bongo singer explained that they broke up in episodes, arguing that it was not an abrupt thing. Ben explained that he tried his best and tried as much as he could to keep their relationship alive, but things weren’t working at all.
Anerlisa on her end has moved on, despite the challenges she has faced lately. About a month ago, her car and house were at risk of being auctioned over unpaid arrears. However, Anerlisa dismissed the claims.
