In a press conference, Tabitha Karanja CEO of Keroche breweries appeals to the president to assist in the tax issue with KRA that has summed up to 322 million. She says that they’ve tried reaching out to KRA but to no avail, as it is a matter that can be resolved and they can pay the taxes if KRA opens up their business.
“We are sure this issue can be sorted out amicably as we are ready to pay the required taxes if KRA opens up the brewery,”
She says that this move will see more than 250 people lose their livelihood.
“we will be forced to drain all the beer and lay down over 250 direct employees “
