Veteran Reggae Emcee Njambi Koikai aka Fyah Mummah has stated that she would be contesting for the Dagoretti South parliamentary seat as an independent candidate. On her facebook , the radio personality uploaded a flyer that followed a lengthy statement describing her ideology.

“The community spirit and mission can be felt in our determination, the bonds we’ve established from childhood which have been carried on from down the generations. Dwelling in this society has molded my ideals and the path of my life. This has pushed me to strive for my community to enhance the socio – economic situation of our population by working together,” Njambi wrote in a comprehensive statement.
Being an endometriosis warrior and survivor, Njambi vowed to give healthcare a top priority once elected.
“I fought Endometriosis which is a menstruation health related conditions for over fifteen years and from this journey, I noticed loopholes in our healthcare system that prompted me to campaign for greater access to medical care for our people in Dagoretti South,” Njambi’s statement continued.
The Veteran reggae Mcee now joins a list of celebrities like Kiss FM Presenter Jalang’o, CMB Prezzo, and Gospel Musician Rufftone who are running for legislative seats.
