MP, Ayub Savula has stated that Musalia Mudavadi, the ANC Party Leader, took a bribe in the guise of a KSh 300 million mansion in Karen in exchange for establishing a political alliance with Deputy President William Ruto.

The Lugari Member of Parliament said during a breakfast interview on one of the local radio stations that the Jubilee Party Secretary General Tuju phoned and told him of the pact prior to the Bomas of Kenya pronouncement.
Savula stated that he stands by his statement and is ready to swear an affidavit stating that Mudavadi was offered a property worthy ksh 300 million in exchange for withdrawing from the presidential contest. Additionally, the MP stated that Deputy President William Ruto entirely funded the construction of Senator Malala’s residence in Kakamega.
